I have played amateur football and later became an amateur football referee and futsal referee of the 1st National League. Founding member and first Chairman of the Hellenic Futsal Referees Association (2022-2024), until my retirement. I’m a PFSA Level 2 Football Scout.

I was born and raised in Athens, Greece. In 2014 I founded my company BeerBartender, which has been educating and informing the industry and consumers on beer, spirits, and hospitality topics. The same year the BeerBartender Awards were organized for the first time. In 2017, I started publishing the Beer & Bar Magazine and organized the Greek Beer Awards for national beers. Since 2022, the Greek Beer Awards have been addressed to other countries.
I have participated in the organization committee of various events, like conferences, seminars, and competitions. I have been invited to speak at exhibitions and festivals in Greece and abroad, and instructor in several beer courses, as well as a judge in international and national beer and bartending competitions. I am consulting hospitality businesses and liquor-shops about beer and bartending.
I speak Greek, English and German.
