Beer consultant, beer writer, and lecturer based in Greece. Nicola Radisis is the founder of BeerBartender, the first Greek company focused on beer matters, offering training and consulting services among others. In 2016 he founded Beer & Bar Magazine, the only business magazine in the print publication of Greece with a digital presence, both in Greek and English.
His company organized the BeerBartender Awards, which since 2013 were the annual meeting of the Greek brewing industry. In 2017 the Greek Beer Awards were added to this annual meeting. The only competition with blind tastings for Greek beers. Since 2022 the Greek Beer Awards have expanded to South Eastern European & Mediterranean countries. BeerBartender has organized an International Beer Conference in 2017 and the Best BeerBartender, a competition that recognizes the best professional in serving skills and knowledge on beer.
He writes, lectures, tastes beers, loves traveling, and is ready to guide anyone through the Greek beer revolution in his country. He participated in various regional and national exhibitions giving lectures on beer and spirits and was an invited speaker at the 2016 Bar Convent Berlin. Nicola has judged in national bartending, homebrewing, and brewing competitions, and internationally he judged at the International Beer Challenge.
Nicola, is a member of the Hellenic Bartenders Association, the British Guild of Beer Writers, Guild of Beer Sommeliers and supports CAMRA. He speaks Greek, English, and German.
In his free time, he practices Shotokan Karate, referees futsal in National Mens & Womens Division, and has been a football amateur league referee (classic football). He is currently the Chairman of the Greek Futsal Referees Union, which is since June 2022 under establishment.
